Entrance Way Greenville, DE
A Grand Entrance Greets Visitors on Arrival
For these Greenville, Delaware homeowners, the first impression of their home is one to remember.
DiSabatino Landscaping initially installed a custom pool and patio in the backyard of the home. The clients enjoyed it so much they asked the team to return and remodel the front of their property as well.
DiSabatino Landscaping and Esposito Masonry team members came up with a new design that expanded the drive and parking areas while elevating the look of the home. Freestanding stone walls with bluestone caps, paired with a formal wrought iron gate featuring stone column posts created four distinct areas of the property.
An intricate pattern was created to welcome visitors along the sweeping driveway. Cement Belgium block was inlaid in a radial pattern and repeated along the borders of the drive. To mimic pea gravel but stay in place, exposed aggregate stone was laid throughout the area between the blocks of stone.
Curving courtyard walls in Avondale brownstone featured brick trim and capstones. One of the columns displays the property address in a decorative metal sign.
A circular metal fountain with grand Italianate figures echoes the style of the courtyard. Large stone planters filled with flowering plants are spread out around the home.
To match the formal French design of the stonework, extensive landscaping was planted throughout the property. The trees and shrubs are meant to plant continually throughout the year, displaying color during every season.
An extensive LED lighting system was installed to illuminate the property well into the night. This allows the grand home to showcase its beauty during the day or night.
