Backyard Retreat Chadds Ford, PA
This distinctive property in Chadds Ford had a large garage that was detached from the home. In the area between the two buildings, there was already a patio space and fireplace, but the stone was badly in need of repair.
The DiSabatino Landscaping team created a new outdoor space with a pavilion to provide protection from the elements. A high timber frame offers a dramatic focal point for the project. On either side of the fireplace, an outdoor kitchen was installed with stone that matched the original stone.
After completing the pavilion, DiSabatino was asked back to install a new patio in the back of the home. The previous patio was a 10×10 foot concrete surface that was barely used.
The team created a much larger bluestone paver patio with stone seating walls. A woodburning firepit with chairs surrounding it are at one end of the patio, along with a large privacy screen and flowing water feature. On the other end is a hot tub with stone walls built around it.
Brick steps were repointed, and a stone paver walkway was laid with brick trim. The brick and stone look connect the look of the front and back of the home, tying them together in a cohesive pattern.
