Pool Escape Greenville DE
A busy family in Greenville, Delaware loved their home and wanted to add a pool and patio to fill out the property. Unfortunately, due to the steep elevation of their backyard, they were told that installing a pool would be impossible.
“They were convinced they would have to move to get the backyard they wanted,” says President Chris DiSabatino. “A few companies flat out told them, no.”
After conducting a thorough evaluation of the grading, DiSabatino Landscaping determined that the project could be completed. They decided to work with the slope of the yard instead of fighting against it, building the pool into the side of the hill.
A large flagstone patio extends the length of the house, with several seating areas situated around the pool. The long rectangular pool is reinforced with a substantial wall made of boulders. The boulders are replicated in a natural stone staircase that runs on the opposite side of the home.
“Drainage and water runoff were one of the biggest challenges of the project,” says Chris. “We offer a 10-year warranty, so we had to make sure the water management was done perfectly.”
Next to the pool, a lower-level hot tub was dug out of the ground. There are stone steps leading down to the private hot tub area, which is surrounded by a decorative metal railing. The pool also has an auto cover to keep leaves and debris out of the water.
Multiple areas for entertaining offer areas for guests to relax. There’s a full bar and outdoor grilling area with outdoor seating. Natural landscaping, LED lighting, and an outdoor sound system complete the seamless look of the project.
